The Story Behind the Lens

Hi, I'm Paola!

I'm a Colorado photographer based in Highlands Ranch. I love creating images that capture meaningful moments and milestones—photos you'll be excited to share, display, and enjoy for years to come.

My love for photography began on my eighth birthday. I received my very first camera- a blue 110 Kodak/Fisher-Price film camera. Funny enough, blue is my favorite color to this day. From the moment I got that camera, I was more interested in being behind it than in front of it, taking pictures of family, friends, and just about anyone who would let me. I wanted to preserve that moment, that person, that memory.

Years later, when I became a mom to kids who played sports, photography took on a whole new meaning. Sitting on the sidelines, I discovered how much I loved capturing the energy, determination, and emotion of athletes. As a sports parent, I understand the dedication, sacrifice, and countless hours that go into competing, which is why I feel especially passionate about preserving those moments for athletes and their families.

Today, I photograph everything from action sports and team portraits to senior sessions that celebrate one of life's biggest milestones.
